Good recipe for you football fans!!
Buffalo chicken dip
Tailgaterrrrrrs, mount up!! There's not much better than a little Warren G reference, besides beating Iowa State beating Iowa last weekend. ZING! Sorry to all you Hawkeye fans...actually I'm not, I ingest all the poop talk (my family reads this so better keep it clean) all year long from you and I will rejoice in this victory for the next 51 weeks guilt free!
Besides this being our first home tailgate of the season (we missed Labor day weekend, although we did listen on the radio), this was also my friend Beatrice's 30th birthday party...which obviously means we had to do it BIG! We get an RV pass each year to root ISU on from the parking lot, so we have a home base to make a mean tailgate....this year we even got a tv hooked up to watch the games instead of just listening. Moving on up in the world, huh!?
One of Bea's favorite party foods is this buffalo chicken dip, so this topped my list of food to make. I should always remember to just double this recipe...it always gets killed. I'm sure some (or all) of you have heard of this or tasted it. The secret to making this different? Use a whole chicken. Yup, get yourself a whole rotisserie chicken and dig right in there getting all the lovliness that is savory roasted chicken into your crockpot. When time is an issue, I have used canned all white meat chicken but it does have a taste tradeoff...although I believe the canned chicken is better for you. You decide what's important to you and your group...
1 whole rotisserie chicken, skinned and boned
2 (8 oz) containers cream cheese...you know I use fat free in everything
1.5 cups ranch (light or fat free)
1.5 cups Franks hot sauce
whole bag of 2% cheddar cheese
Throw it all in a crockpot like so...put it on high for an hour, stirring occasionally....and BOOM! ISU beats IA, your best friend has a happy birthday, and all is right in the world.
Picture quality is not the greatest here, this is at 7 am so there wasn't great light under the RV's canopy.....yes, we got up at 5:30 am to tailgate. And yes, I felt like I was a college student the following day. But it was oh so worth it!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while!! I have been so busy but I need to get back to posting and letting everyone know what's going on in my world. I have been really busy with work and ThirtyOne Gifts, and having a great time meeting all kinds of new people. This company is wonderful and they were not kidding with the words of Reward, Encourage and Celebrate us women. I have been more rewarded in this company then I ever imagined!! Life seems like it is going by so fast, as we wake up in the morning we feel that cool air in the morning which reminds us that winter is on the way. I am not looking forward to the cold, especially with the Fibromyalgia! Well we will be getting away and enjoying the sunlight soon and warmth with great friends and family!!

My Why!!!
As many as you know my name of my site really doesn't explain to much, but this is my why!
I started as a Independent Consultant with ThirtyOne because of what they stand for and the wonderful products they offer and reasonable prices. Who doesn't need a little extra cash and also want to meet a lot of wonderful women of all ages. It's awesome to hear their stories and where they have been and where they are going in their life's. I love being around people and enjoy their company!! I have always been in the retail world, almost 40 years as a Pharmacy Technician, Asst.Manager and had enjoyed the aspects of all that goes with the job. I just want to move to a another sort of means to supplement my income or replace my income, as well as get ready to help with the cost of my sons wedding. That is one of my whys!! The second why is to be able to spend more time with my husband and third is hopefully to be able to retire in Florida and just take time to relax, be in warm weather and a pool.
I developed Fibromyalgia approx. two years ago after undergoing two surgeries within a 5 month period and it just doesn't make any sense why someone would be fine before then and after have nothing but pain 24 seven every day of the week. This is something I have never experienced before and have a true heart for those that are suffering with any kind of medical condition out there. I truly know what it means to have pain!! I guess being in pharmacy gives me the a different outlook on someone that comes in for pain medication, not everyone is a junkie like some people think and some of us are so judge metal about this kind of thing. I guess that is why God is using me in this spot at this time!! My prayers go out to each and everyone that have any kind of medical condition!!
I love doing what I'm doing in each area and want to continue to do my best job that I can in the years ahead. I hope this explains my why and everyone should have one. I guess I really never thought about it to much till I joined this company and realized I needed to take a look around. I have so much to still learn, even though I am getting up there in years and so much to offer according to Gods word. Depending on what your perception of getting up in the years, lol lol, when you are young you can't even imagine, but when you get in those middle years of your life you realize you still have a lot you want to accomplish and experience. So I say just get out there and do what is on that bucket list and what God wants you to accomplish! Listen!!
1) Enjoy my family as much as I can!!
2) Swim with the dolphins
3) Move to Florida
and many many more....some seem silly to others, but it's just things I want to experience.
What about you, do you have a bucket list? I hope I bring inspiration to you today and that you take a long hard look at yourself, young or old and decide what your bucket list may be and also listen to what God wants us to do and especially add those things in!! I need to work on that myself!!

Sunday Adventure..... Today was a beautiful day outside, couldn't of asked for nicer weather. We got on the motorcycle and headed out with friends for a country ride and find a place to eat. We had lunch at a restaurant in Columbus,MI, it was okay, but the guys really enjoyed their Buffalo Burgers with cooked onions!! I thought I would pass, couldn't imagine having buffalo.
We took off from there and headed over to Port Huron,MI and went to the park to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful weather. We walked down by the water front and watched all the boaters in the most blue water I have seen in a long time, reminded me of the ocean. A very large barge was coming through the waterway, hard to believe those things can float. I surely wouldn't want to be someone living on water for days in and days out, I would feel trapped. Thank you to our Navy and Coast Guard men and women!!
We headed back home around 4:00pm after a beautiful day with our wonderful friends!! I thank God for putting these friends in our path of life, it was so meant to be!

Tomorrow I will have some news for you about my ThirtyOne business! So many things happening and look forward to the new catalog in September. Welcome everyone to my Why Blog!! Today has been a busy day just running around and doing the catch up things on the weekend. Totally enjoying this beautiful summer we are having and before we know it, this will be gone.
